![]() ![]() Scan the scene first to work out what the manual exposure should be. I found because the drone could have issues focusing on a blank sky to put it on AF focus on something on the horizon then hit the focus button to change it to MF (Tip here is to turn focus peaking on in settings then you know clearly when you are in Manual Focus as sharp bits are red) I take the manual shots and Panorama using the same Manual Exposure and White Balance. Using PTGUI I could externally stitch everything (even though the manual shots were vertical and sphere pano horizontal). You can take complete 360 X 180 Panos without the need for editing in gaps by firstly in 12MP single mode flipping to vertical then extend the gimbal upward as far as you can go and take 8 shots at the compass readings of 0, 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, 315 then flick into Sphere Panorama Mode and let it run.Even better if stitched using an external editor 180 Panos are pretty awesome at providing an expansive view not requiring a special viewer like you need for 360x180 panos. The Jpegs out of the drone are pretty good infact sometimes it's hard to match by developing a RAW image.48MP mode is only a mode in itself, you can't use it for Panos, AEB, Bursts etc.The SD card goes upside down in the drone and right side up in the card reader :-) I wonder how many of us have done that once?. ![]() I'm about 3 days owning my Mini 3 Pro now and have had a good chance to have a play and do some testing and this is what I have learned so far.
